At the top of the Load and Record screen, look at the button to the right of the
grid icon. It should say either 1x or Mx depending on how you got to this
screen. If it says 1x, you are set up to record a single file. Touch the 1x button
and the Mode Selector menu will drop down. Touch Multi. You are now in
Multi or Mx mode. The list of recording parameters is different to support this
mode.

On the Recording screen, you use one of the top knobs to select which
parameter you are editing, and you use one of the bottom knobs to set the
value for that parameter. Select values for the following parameters to
configure your recording session:

Gain
The VU meters above the list of
parameters represent the level of
the signal to be recorded. You can
adjust the gain to get the desired
level and avoid clipping.

Filename
The name of the folder that will
store the multi-sample bank
recordings. It will also be used as
a prefix for the individual file
names.
Select this parameter and then push the INFO button
to open the file naming screen. Turn a knob to move
the cursor position. Touch the onscreen keyboard to
enter a file name. Touch Enter to save the filename
and return to the parameters screen.
Start Note
The note that will be sent out as a
trigger to record the first WAV file.
