PARAMETER MODULATION VIA MIDI
CONTROL THE X AND Y MODULATORS VIA MIDI
Once you have set up MIDI via the steps on the previous page, you can use the MIDI
controller to modulate parameters. You can use the following standard MIDI signals to
modulate a parameter: Velocity, Pressure, Key, and Mod Wheel. You can also use the Learn
button to map a MIDI CC to a modulation slot. See
above to learn
how to apply MIDI to modulation slots.
The X and Y modulators controlled on the X/Y Modulator screen on nanobox can be used
to modulate any of the parameters that have modulation slots. You can also configure
nanobox to allow MIDI control of X and Y.
1.
From the Dashboard, push the Left Arrow button to access the nanobox Config
screen.
2.
Choose a CC number for the X Mod and Y Mod parameters. Nanobox will
respond to these CC numbers on the channel specified by the MIDI In
parameter directly above the X Mod parameter.
SYNCHRONIZING WITH THE CLOCK IN
You can use an analog clock pulse to synchronize nanobox with other gear. Nanobox
expects a 4 PPQ pulse.
The nanobox will follow the first clock available from the following list:
1.
Clock In
2.
MIDI Clock
3.
Internal BPM from the Preset Config screen.
