9 KIT-Mode
In the menu KIT you will find all pages that you need to edit a KIT. A KIT includes all settings of
individually assembled setups that are stored in one program memory location.
A KIT can be a
drum setup
(bass drum, snare, toms, cymbals), a
Percussion setup
(tablas, bongos,
congas usw.), an
effect setup
(Loops, Sounds) or a
„mixed“ setup
.
Within a KIT sounds are assigned to the various drum channels, and custom sound, effects and EQ
settings are saved. In addition, each KIT includes either a metronome or a media player (see also page
42).
The user KIT bank has 100 fully changeable and saveable KITs. More details on page 12.
In the following you will learn how to save, rename, move or copy a KIT. These functions are available
directly - and only - on the main page of the KIT mode.
Saving a KIT
If you have made changes on a KIT page and want to keep them, you have to save the modified KIT.
Please note that the SAVE function of the DrumIt Five has to be switched on in order to be
able to save a KIT. If you cannot perform the SAVE procedure described below, that function
is turned off. How to activate the SAVE function is explained on page 60.
A „
?“
next to
SAVE
on the KIT main page indicates that the selected KIT has been changed.
Now press the left DATA button above the display.
If you press the button above SAVE once more, the KIT is stored.
In the saving process you can also rename, move or copy a KIT to another program location:
