Saving the Tempo
The tempo of the metronome is stored with the selected KIT. If you want to change the
tempo and keep this change, you have to save the KIT (SAVE).
This function is useful for preparing several tempos for a live performance, which you can
recall in succession by selecting the respective KITs.
STOP ALL
With the key combination MORE + STOP (DATA button in the middle) you stop the playback
of all sources at once (song, metronome, loops).
Quick Search Function: Quickly Find and Select Single-KITs
As described in chapter 4.4, page 12, the DrumIt Five distinguishes between a user-KIT-
bank with 100 memory locations and single user KIT files (see page 12) with only one
memory location. The user KIT files (also called single KIT) are stored in alphabetical order
starting after the KIT program number "100".
The Quick Search feature allows users to search and select KIT-files faster. Press the left
DATA controller to switch into Quick Search mode. If you now turn the DATA wheel you jump
directly from one to the next group of letters, without having to call up every single KIT with
the same first letter. In the first display view (see below), you see the user-KIT-bank, which is
followed by the user KIT files in alphabetical order.
If you e.g. search a Single-KIT-file with a name starting with "M", turn the DATA wheel until
the letter "M" appears in the display. Now press the DATA controller again, and return to the
standard mode. Now you can sequentially browse or select all KITs starting with "M".
