On this page, you can read the current signal level of the line input and the output channels from LED
meters (DATA-buttons and DATA-controllers have no function).
For an optimum signal quality, it is recommended to drive high levels but to avoid "clipping" (permanent
illumination of the topmost LED segment). Each segment of the LED bar represents a level value of 6
dB.
The level of the line-input signal (e.g. mp3 players) is displayed here. Please note that
there is no separate gain controller for this signal. Make sure that the output volume of
the external device is not set too high, otherwise the signal will be distorted.
1 - 2
Here, the level of the main output is displayed. Depending on the routing settings on
Page OUT (see also page 55 and page 64), the signal level can be adjusted with the
LEVEL controller.
As factory default the MIX signal (internal mixer) is sent to OUT1 and OUT2. This way,
you can adjust the sum signal with the LEVEL control. However, if you use OUT1 and
OUT2 as direct outputs (value "1+2!" for parameter OUT1·2 on page OUT), the LEVEL
controller has no function.
3 - 6
This shows what level is going out of the outputs 3 to 6 (BUS 3-6). Please note that the
Direct Out signal of the respective bus can only be changed through the volume (VOL)
of the corresponding drum channel on page DRUM in the KIT menu. See also the
examples on page 64.
Here, the level of the headphone signal is displayed. Depending on the selected
routing settings on Page OUT (see also page 55 and page 64) the volume is
dependent of the LEVEL controller.
