Situation 3 - Studio: All Instruments Separately
You connect the DrumIt-Five to an external mixer and want to provide the sound engineer with as many
separate channels as possible. For this, you turn the headphone jack into the individual outputs 7+8
using a Y-split cable (1x stereo jack to 2x mono jack). Logically, a headphone can not be connected in
this setup.
The PERC group can be used for e.g. percussion and loops. Toms and cymbals are routed to separate
BUS groups. Within this BUS group, the various instruments can be placed in the stereo image (page
VOL in the mode KIT).
Only the DRUM channels are outputted. All other signals (effects, line in, song and metronome) can not
be heard.
