How can I adjust the volumes of the instruments to each other?
For this purpose you have an internal mixer in the mode UNIT on the page MIX (see page 45). Refer
also to the detailed explanations on this topic starting on page 64.
How can I save my settings?
Changes can be saved in both modes UNIT and KIT at the main page (KIT PROG respectively UNIT
MIX) by pressing the left DATA button. Any changes you made in the respective areas are indicated by a
"?". Refer also to page 27 and page 45. In order to be able to save, you have to have the SAVE function
enabled on the page PREF in the mode UNIT (see page 60).
How do I calibrate my hihat?
The calibration is done on the page HPED in the UNIT mode. Please refer to page 25 ff.
How can I optimize the response behavior of the hihat to my needs?
Special configuration options for the hi-hat can be found in the mode UNIT on the pages HPED (see
page 51) and TRIG (see page 47). In any case, you should calibrate the hihat properly. It is also
recommended that you experiment with the trigger-curves and GAIN Please note that an electronic hi-
hat always responds somewhat different from a normal hi-hat.
How can I avoid trigger cross-talk?
Due to vibrations of the floor or in modified setups of the kit it is possible that unwanted crosstalk occurs
between the drum channels. As a first step, check if the kit was set up correctly and all screws are
properly tightened. If the problem persists, you should check whether you have set the proper pad type
on the page TRIG in the mode UNIT. Should this also be set correctly, you can still minimize eventual
crosstalk by using the XTALK function on the page TRIG. Please refer to page 47.
How can I assign a different sound to the Rim?
Call up the page DRUM in the mode KIT and select the desired PERC channel by simultaneously
pressing the MORE button and the respective Drum Channel button. Now you can assign a sound to the
PERC channel as accustomed (see also page 33).
