Outgoing Call
Put the phone off-hook, you can hear the dial tone and the Line LED starts
flashing.
Dial the user number. The interdigit delay may not be longer than 5 s (or as
programmed) during dialing. The number is evaluated as complete and
transmitted to the GSM network after this timeout.
A short delay follows the last-dialed digit for

dialing, if any, which is then followed by the dialing end signal and connection
setup.
If the called user is available, you will hear the ringing tone. If the called user is
engaged, you will hear the busy tone or any of the GSM provider's messages.
When the called user answers the phone, a call is established. The Line LED is
permanently on during the call.
Hang up to end the call. The Line LED goes off. If the called user is the first to
hang up, you will hear the busy tone and hang up.
Incoming Call
Ringing signals an incoming call. The Line LED flashes during ringing.
Put the phone off-hook to connect the call. The Line LED is permanently on
during the call.
Hang up to end the call. The Line LED goes off. If the called user is the first to
hang up, you will hear the busy tone and hang up.
Automatic Call (Babycall)
If the Babycall function is enabled, a pre-programmed period of time is counted down
after off-hook. Unless you start dialing by the end of this timeout, a call to the
predefined phone number is set up automatically – from this moment on, 2N
