Diagnostics Page
The
Diagnostics Page
contains the following fields:

Select a Port
— Selects the port to be tested.
■
Test Result
— Displays the cable test results. Possible values are:
■
No Cable
— Indicates that a cable is not connected to the port, or
the cable is connected on only one side or the cable is shorter than
1 meter.
■
Short Cable
— Indicates that a short has occurred in the cable.
■
OK
— Indicates that the cable passed the test.
■
Cable Fault Distance
— Indicates the distance in meters from the
port where the cable error occurred.
A Cable Fault Distance of 0M can result from a short (< 1 meter) cable, an
open cable or a 2-pair copper cable.
■
Last Update
— Indicates the last time the port was tested.
