In the IP Address text box, type the IP address you want to assign to the
RAS 1500 (for example, 192.112.227.15). The IP address you assign must
be a part of the IP network to which to your RAS 1500 is attached.

In the Netmask text box, type the network mask you want to assign to
the RAS 1500. For example, a class C network without a subnet mask is
255.255.255.0.

In the Community String text box, type the community string (for
example, public) you want to assign to the RAS 1500. This sets both the
read and write community strings of the RAS 1500.

Click
Set
and then click
Configure
. The IP address is assigned to the RAS
1500 and a web browser launches, loading the main screen of the Web
Configuration Interface shown below in Figure 2-3.
