Welcome to Home Networking
The HomeConnect Home Network Ethernet Kit is designed to
assist you in quickly setting up your home network. It comes
with everything you need to link two computers together in a
network, which allows you to share a single Internet connection,
exchange files, and share expensive equipment such as printers
and modems.
The HomeConnect USB Network Adapter is the simplest method
of connecting a computer to an Ethernet network. You can install
and remove the USB Network Adapter without removing the
case of your computer and without turning the power off!
Before you begin
Before you begin the installation, make sure that you have all
the items in the components list.
Install the HomeClick Network Software first. The Network
Setup Wizard tells you when it's time to install the network
hardware. Just follow the instructions on the screen.
If you have the home network kit, install both the software and
the hardware on one computer before moving on to the next.
When you finish installing the network software
and hardware, use HomeClick Network Center to
customize and troubleshoot your home network.
