Left-hand Pane Views
The EMS GUI gives you two views: the Explorer view and the List view;
and one customized way: logical view — to view elements in the
left-hand pane of the EMS GUI main window.
Element is a generic term used in this document to describe any
folder, sub-folder, SNMP device, user, or other sub-element found in
the explorer tree.
Explorer View (default view)
The Explorer view lets you view all of the elements in an explorer tree, a
hierarchical organization containing multiple levels of tree nodes. The
Explorer view is the default view in the EMS GUI client and all of the
procedures in this document begin from this view. Many folders and
devices have sub-elements. You can expand and collapse elements (nodes
in the tree) that have sub-elements. For more information, see
