This chapter describes commands that you can use to configure Open
Shortest Path First (OSPF) routing on a Multilayer Switching Module.
For more information about administering OSPF routing, see the
Switch 4007 Implementation Guide
.
The Switch 4007 software and management interfaces are built from
CoreBuilder
®
9000 switch technology. In Switch 4007 software
releases 3.0.0 and 3.0.5, the prompts and displays in all interfaces may
indicate this heritage.
Menu Structure
The diagram on the next page shows an inclusive list of commands that
stem from the
ip ospf
menu at software release 3.0.5.
The commands that are available for you to use depend on two factors:

The level of management access with which you logged into the
system Management Module.
■
The type of module to which you are connected. See the checklist at
the beginning of each command description in this chapter for
whether your module supports the command. Any exceptions are
clearly noted.
