Parameters
sysname
: System name of the Ethernet switch. It is a string of 1 to 30 characters. By default, it is 3Com.
Description
Use the
sysname
command to set the system name of an Ethernet switch. Use the
undo
sysname
command to restore the default system name of the Ethernet switch.
Changing the system name will affect the CLI prompt. For example, if the system name of the switch is
3Com, the prompt for user view is <3Com>.
Examples
