: Specifies the type and number of the source
interface.
source-ip ip-address
: Specifies the source IP address.
Description
Use the
telnet
command to Telnet to another device from the current switch to manage the former
remotely. You can terminate a Telnet connection by pressing
Ctrl+K
or by executing the
quit
command.

interface-number
: Interface type and interface number.
Description
Use the
telnet source-interface
command to specify the source interface for a Telnet client.
Use the
undo telnet source-interface
command to remove the specified source interface.
The source interface can be a loopback interface or a VLAN interface. If the specified interface does not
exist, the system prompts that this configuration fails.
With this command configured, when a device logs in to the Telnet server as a Telnet client, the source
IP address is the IP address of the specified interface, the login succeeds only when there is a route
between the specified source interface and the Telnet server.
