Logging Out
To log out of the LMA, select
(7) Logout
of the Main Menu.
Automatic Logout
The CoreBuilder 7000 family ATM switch has an automatic logout feature
included on software versions from version 3.5. If you do not use the
keyboard for 15 minutes, the LMA automatically logs you out. You
cannot adjust the length of time or disable this feature.
Activating and
Storing a New
Configuration
Parameter
When you update a configuration parameter through the LMA menus,
the system performs two tasks:

The parameter is activated by the system
■
The parameter is saved to flash memory
The method and the timing of these tasks depends on the specific LMA
command, as described in the following sections.
Activating a New Parameter
The system can activate (begin to use) a new parameter in one of two
ways:
■
Immediately
■
Only after the next reboot
The method used by a specific LMA command is indicated in its
command description.
