Connecting the Power Cables
Power Supply Interface and PGND Terminal
You can use AC power modules for AC power input or DC power modules for DC power input for the
F5000-A5. Table 4-2 shows the specifications for the power supply interface and PGND terminal.

Before connecting the power supply, check the following:
z
Use a three-terminal, single-phase power connector with a grounding contact.
z
Ground the power supply reliably. Normally, the grounding contact of the power supply system in a
building was buried during construction and cabling.
z
Make sure that the power supply of the building is well grounded before connecting the AC power
cord.
