Selecting Regional
Software and
Components
After completing the hardware installation test, you can download your
preferred regional language software and components. A “region”
consists of a country and language pairing, such as, “France (French)” or
“China (Mandarin)” You can select up to four of the following regions:

United States (English)
■
United Kingdom (English)
■
Australian (English)
■
France (French)
■
Germany (German)
■
Italy (Italian)
■
Spain (Castilian Spanish)
■
Mexico (Mexican Spanish)
■
China (Mandarin)
■
China (Cantonese)
US English is installed by default and cannot be removed. The default U.S.
English is used as a fallback in case another Internationalization Pack fails
to load properly.
The collection of regional software and components is called an
Internationalization Pack. Internationalization Packs include the following
regional components:

T1 and E1 Digital Line Card Status Lights

Nominal light on
The card is connected to a T1/E1 device.
Nominal light off
The card is not connected to a T1/E1 device.
Nominal light flashing
There is an active call.
8-Port Hub Card Status Lights
Condition
Status
Light off
Port not connected to a device
Light on
Port connected to a device, but not sensing any traffic.
Rapid flashing
The port is handling network traffic.
