OMMANDS
Add Command
add ip arp address
<ip_addr>
access_mac_address
<mac_addr>
interface
<interface_name>
Adds static ARP entries and associates them with an interface. The values
<ip_address> and <mac_addr> are required. If
interface
is not specified, the entry
is applied to all interfaces.
Note: use the
Arp
command to determine the MAC address of the client.
add ip arp address
<ip_addr>
state
[private |
public]
Adds an IP address to the static ARP table and designates it as a public or private
entry.
Clear Command
clear arp_cache
Deletes all data in the ARP cache without rebooting the OfficeConnect Gateway.
Issue the
list ip arp
command to display ARP statistics.
Delete Command
delete ip arp address
<ip_addr>
interface
<interface_name>
Deletes the indicated IP address from the ARP table of the specified interface.
Parameter
Description
ip_addr
The IP address of the client that you are adding to the static ARP table.
mac_addr
The MAC address of the client that you are adding to the static ARP table.
interface_name
The interface that this client will be associated with in the static ARP table.
Parameter
Description
ip_addr
The IP address to add to the static ARP table.
state
private
- Only check for a static ARP entry for
the interface receiving the ARP request.
public
- If there isn’t a static ARP entry for the
current interface, check the table to see if the
IP address is set for all interfaces.
Parameter
Description
ip_addr
The IP address to delete from the ARP table.
interface
The interface associated with the specified IP address.
