ONFIGURING THE
V6100
The V6100 is supplied with application software already resident in its flash memory (with
factory default parameters).
Assigning the V6100 IP Address
describes how to assign IP address to the V6100. See

describes how to set up the
V6100
with basic parameters using a standard Web browser (such as Microsoft
TM
Internet
Explorer).
Assigning the V6100 IP Address
applies equally to MGCP, MEGACO, H.323 and
SIP.
Assigning the V6100 IP Address
To assign an IP address to the V6100 use one of the following methods:
HTTP using a Web browser (see
Assigning an IP Address Using HTTP
).
BootP
Assigning an IP Address Using BootP
The embedded Command Line Interface (CLI) accessed via Telnet (see
Assigning an IP Address Using the CLI
).
DHCP (refer to the
V6100 Digital Gateway User
Guide).
Use the ‘Reset’ button at any time to restore the V6100 networking parameters to their
factory default values (see
