1. Log in to
DMP Deposition
following the normal log-in procedure (§5.1 Start up DMP Flex 350).
2. Open the
Setup Mode
tab.
3. Click the
Release Pressure
(1) button.
5.5 Remove Printed Parts
When the parts are finished printing, they need to be removed from the printer and processed for use. Follow these steps to
remove the printed parts from the printer.
Caution: During the printing process the powder and the parts that are build become very hot. Before
handling the powder/parts, always let the DMP Flex 350 complete the cool-down cycle.
Caution: Always wear the appropriate PPE’s when performing operations that involve powder contact.
4. Click the
Unlock
icon to release the glove port locks.
5. Open the glove ports to access the process chamber.
6. The control box allows the operator to move the coater
and build and feed platforms without the use of the PC
touchscreen.
a. Use the mode select button (1) to select the desired
actuator.
b. Move the action lever (2) to initiate movement for the
selected actuator.
c. To reduce pinching hazards, the hold-to-run button (3)
must be activated to be able to move the coater.
