Alternatively, clean the RPM blower with a brush. Press the
brush onto the blades of the RPM blower and move from
side to side. Rotate the rotor and repeat the operation to
the new area of blades. Continue the cleaning operation
until any powder that impedes rotation of the RPM blower
has been removed from the blades. Gently tap the RPM
blower against a surface and collect the small clumps of
powder that could be dropping out with a wet-separator
vacuum cleaner.
3. Clean the rest of the printer module with a wet-separator
vacuum cleaner. Move the modulbe blower out of the way
to clean below it.
4. Unplug the 24 V supply cables attached to the printer
module.
Caution: Always make sure the 24V DC On/Off
(printer only) knob is set to Off first.
5. Release the locking pins.
6. Remove the printer module from the process chamber:
a. Align the module cart with the holes in the printer
frame.
b. Lock the module cart to process chamber by turning
the wheel clockwise, until the module cart is locked
and the printer module blocks are cleared.
