E204 – problem with minimum endstop position for Z axis position
Incorrect endstop position on vertical axis. The minimum value for the distance between the head and the bed has been
reached. Once homing of Z axis is completed (option Home Z in Manual controls menu), the distance in each place over the
bed should not be lower than 0.5 mm, particularly no physical contact should occur between the printing nozzle tip and the
bed. When an incorrect distance is detected, adjust the position of limit switch for Z axis (reference to endstop adjustment
instructions).
E205 – measurement accuracy out of tolerance limits
The printer takes the measurements of tool height correction by using a force sensor. The measurement is performed with
a repetition to test repeatability and the measurement accuracy. If the accuracy exceeds the tolerance (0.02 mm), then the
3. SYSTEM ERRORS AND TROUBLESHOOTING
E201 – problems with reading force values for the printing module. Force value beyond the measurement range.
Check the following:
• if the printing module is installed correctly,
• if the printing module is not mechanically damaged,
• if after homing the Z axis (option Home Z in Manual controls menu) there is no physical contact between any printing
module component and the bed. When any contact is detected, adjust the position of limit switch position sensor for Z
axis (reference to endstop adjustment instructions),
• if no force is applied to the head by other printer components, e.g. by the tubing leading the material to the head, i.e. by
locking them against the components under the top printer cover.
INFORMACJA:
the correct force reading should range from -15500 to 15500 units. This value can be read by selecting the
Hardware Test option in Configuration menu. The force reading is located under the Force Sensor item.
E202
– endstop position error for Z axis position
Incorrect endstop position on vertical axis. The maximum value for the distance between the head and the bed has been
reached. After homing the Z axis (the Home Z option in Manual controls menu) the distance in each point over the bed should
not exceed 2 mm. In case of error:
• if the distance is not within the range from 0.5 m to 2 mm – an adjustment should be performed for the endstop position
for Z axis (reference to the endstop adjustment instructions),
• if the distance is within the range from 0.8 mm to 2 mm – check if the force sensor responses to pressure. To do this
check if the Force Sensor force value is subject to change after applying a force to the tip of the printing nozzle (The
value can be read by selecting the Hardware Test option in Configuration menu). If the value after applying a force does
not change significantly, contact the technical support department.
E203/Temperature Sensor Fail – temperature sensor error. A problem with temperature measurement of one or more heating
devices
It is necessary to turn off the mains power supply and check:
• if the printing module is installed correctly,
• if the printing module or other printer components are not mechanically damaged,
• if tubing/cables inside the printer chamber and under the upper service cover are not damaged.
If the printer module is installed correctly and/or one of the above damage occurred, please contact the technical support
department.
CAUTION:
both the printing head and remaining components inside the printer chamber can be heated to high
temperatures posing a risk of burns. Use caution and perform the pressure test using a metal object, e.g.
tweezers. Never touch printer components with exposed body parts.
