Maintenance
Introduction
This chapter describes the most common maintenance solutions that can be performed by the
user of the Scanner. For maintenance solutions not described in this manual, contact your
3DHISTECH service technician.
The
Pannoramic® DESK F
LASH DX is a precision device that must be operated properly, and
maintenance procedures must be performed in specified intervals. For the safe and reliable
operation of the Scanner, it must be used as intended and kept maintained and serviced.
It is recommended to perform the following procedures:
•
Keep the Scanner clean (see section
Cleaning
for more details)
•
The user must visually inspect certain units of the Scanner
Warning!
It is legally required that the
Pannoramic® DESK FLASH DX
is serviced in specified intervals,
and servicing must be carried out by 3DHISTECH service technicians or contracted personnel
only.
The
PANNORAMIC® Diagnostic Scanner Software
does
NOT
instruct you to perform a
cleaning task or maintenance procedure, or to contact 3DHISTECH for servicing, so it is
mandatory that you act in accordance with the regularly scheduled inspections,
maintenance and cleaning tasks, otherwise the performance characteristics, the image
quality, or reliability of the Scanner may decrease, that may lead to a possible misdiagnosis
by the pathologist.
Warning!
If you find that the Scanner does not operate or cannot be operated as intended, contact
3DHISTECH or the local distributor for servicing. If a component or unit is defective, it must
be replaced by an original replacement part or unit.
