Apply erode algorithm
– The
Erode
algorithm is run before barcode reading. It is a useful
function for reading 2D barcode types, since the algorithm completes the scuffed and
faded areas of the barcode by applying the morphological erode filter to an image. This
filter widens and enhances bright areas of the image

Exclude check digit
– Checksum value is ignored when reading

barcodes types.

Slide load tester
Slide loading operation can be checked for each of the slides in a magazine. Click
Insert
magazine
if the prepared magazine or magazines are placed at the bottom of the input guide
rails. Click
Start slide insert test
button to launch the process. Slides are loaded in but
preview image will not be recorded.
If
Magazine counter
is set to -1, all the magazines will be tested in cycles based on the value
set in the
Loading cycle per magazine
field. Click
Remove magazine
when finished.
5.7 Hosting
Hosting a live teleconsultation session gives specialists the opportunity to examine the same Live
microscopic image during a real-time counseling even if being in laboratories far away from each
other. This means multiple users can connect to the device at the same time. The user of the scanner
will be the host with direct access to the scanner.
Note:
Both the client's and the host's scanner software version must be
identical.
Once client users have connected, they will be able to reach the following functions of scanner:

Live image
•
Preview window
•
Profile content
•
Stage control
Each participant see the same live image within the same preview window. The active user can
navigate on the slide and set up a scanning profile. The
Start scan
function is also available for the
active user. Each participant can make comments in a chat window while examining the slide image.
