8 Cassette and Block Dimensions
The dimensions of the
plastic cassettes
suitable for
TMA Grand Master
are as follows:
•
29 mm (H) x 41 mm (W) x 6 mm (D)
The
paraffin blocks
can have the following dimensions:
•
24 mm (H) x 37 mm (W) x 7.5 mm (D)
NOTE:
If using the 3DHISTECH block moulder, the thickness (depth) of the block is 13.5 mm.
•
The smaller size (7.5 mm in depth) means the paraffin thickness from the upper edge of the
plastic cassette.
•
The height of paraffin blocks in parentheses means their total depth together with the plastic
cassette.
Warning!
Do not use paraffin blocks which dimension values are higher than
24mm
(W) x
37mm (H) x 10mm (D)
, otherwise the drilling and punching heads may be
damaged. If the paraffin blocks are larger than they should be, mold them again
with the base molds delivered with
TMA Grand Master
.
