Computer requirements
For most applications, the Tracking Pad is connected to a
customer-
supplied computer
. Refer to the software user guide that came with your
system for a listing of computer requirements, e.g., operating system, RAM,
hard disk space, processor requirements, etc.
Serial port requirements
The Tracking Pad is connected to your computer’s serial port.
If your computer does not have a serial port, a USB-to-serial adaptor
can be purchased and installed by your IT department. 3M does not
provide USB-to-serial adaptors.
