Installation of the uncut cable (mid span) entry ECAM D18.

Tilt the splicing trays in vertical position (Fig.18)
Remove the sealing plug by pushing on its 2 latches, by using the screwdriver ,while maintaining a pushing pressure
with the thumb (Fig.19,20 & 21). Then push to remove the sealing cap (Fig.22 & 23). Implement double ECAM D18
(see § 6). For the preparation of the mid span double cable entry ECAM D18,

Installation / Coiling of the slack of micro-modules

When the cable has a fibres count ≥ 96 fibers, it is recommended to insert the double entry with its latches oriented
to the front side of the organizer, as it will help supporting the coiled slack of micro-modules  (Fig.26).
For a cable with a lower fibres count, the latches can be installed at the backside of the organizer (Fig.27).
Insert the loop of the bundle through the opening double entry port (Fig.27).
Push the ECAM double entry until it is latched into the BPEO base (Fig.28).

Disengage the first latch (1), push (2) and disengage
the other latch (3) to extract the plug.
