3.04 Place insertion tool on sealant box and lift tool
wings to press module completely into sealant
box. Be sure triangular ribs on tool wings
engage both edges of module to press it into
the sealant box.
Note: The insertion tool must be used to insure
proper installation of the sealant box.
3.05 When module is completely pressed into
sealant box, green grease should be visible
coming out of all wire positions at back of
module.
3.06 Snap latches on ends of sealant box to lock
module into place.
3.07 Remove insertion tool and repeat procedure for
remaining modules.
4.0 Sealant Box Removal
4.01 To remove module from sealant box, release
end latches and remove molded protrusions
(see arrows at right) from base of box with
snips or sheath knife. Remove module.
Note: Sealant boxes must not be reused. If a sealant
box is removed, it must be replaced with a
new sealant box.
