7. Install the headband with the boom microphone earcup arm guide on the left ear cup. First
rotate the left cup to install the earcup arm guide as shown in G:13, and G:14. More force
will be required.
NOTE:
The boom microphone earcup arm guide should be installed mirrored to the other
earcup arm guides to avoid conflict with the boom microphone connector jack.
8. Rotate the boom microphone earcup arm guide in position and install the boom microphone

10. Attach the right earcup to the headband as shown in G:18 and G:19. Force will be required.
NOTE:
Push or pull the earcup arm guide on the earcup as shown in G:13 or G:18. Choose the
method that suits you the best.
11. Repeat G:18 for the other guide, and fully attach the right earcup. Upon successful
installment the earcups should look like in G:20 and G:21.
12. Orient the headband cable on a loop that faces the back of the headset as shown in G:22 to
orient yourself for the headband assembly. Slide the open plastic band cover under the metallic
band as shown in G:23, making sure that the cable groove faces the front of the headset.
13. Run the headband cable in the rubber band groove and close the rubber band as shown in
*E\FOLSSLQJWKHUXEEHUEDQGULGJHVLQ*
14. Continue to clip all ridges G:26, while making sure the cable is bedded in the plastic groove
shown in G:27. Make sure all ridges are clipped, the cable is fully sat on the groove, and cable
loops are made on both sides of the headband to allow stress relief as seen in G:28.
5XQWKHHQGRIWKHFDEOHORRSVIURP*LQWKHWZRKHDGEDQGFOLSVRQHDFKVLGHRIWKH
headband, then clip them as shown in G:29 and G:30.
16. Pressing on the headband as shown in G:31, pull the wire loop of the headband from under
the rubber piece, then run the rubber piece under the wire loop G:32. This may require some
pushing force and caution to prevent rubber jacket damage. Repeat for both sides of the
headband until complete (G:33 and G:34).
17. Inspect the headband converted headset to make sure that everything has been assembled
properly. The headband cable should be looped in between headband guides as shown in
