3. FITTInG AnD ADjUSTMenT - FIG. C
C:1 Open the headband.
C:2 Slide out the cups. Tilt the upper part of the cups outward
so that the wires are positioned away from the headband.
C:3 Position the hearing protector over your ears so that the cushions fully
enclose the ears and seal tightly against the head. Adjust the height of
each cup on both sides while holding the headband down until you
have a tight and comfortable fit.
C:4 The headband should sit straight on the head.
C:5 Before folding the hearing protector, press the cups together.
Leave about 1/8 inch of the headband wire visible.
C:6 Fold the headband as shown. Ensure that the ear cushions are
not creased and that they lie flat against each other.
Note:
Be sure to remove the cord from the audio input (B:11) before
folding the headband.
Important:
For best noise reduction, ear cushions should seal firmly against the
head. Anything that interferes with the seal, such as long hair (pull back to the
extent possible), thick or poorly fitting eyeglass temples, pencils or caps will
lessen the noise reduction. Do not bend and reshape the headband as this
will cause a loose fit and allow sound leakage.
4. USAGe / FUnCTIOnS - FIG. D
4:1 Inserting the batteries
D:1 Remove the left outer shell. Insert a blunt tool or finger under
the edge of the clamp and pull outwards about 1/8 inch.
D:2 Press/slide the clamp down. Remove the shell. Insert the rechargeable
AAA NiMH batteries included with the product. Make sure that the
(+) (-) poles are correctly aligned. The headset can also operate on
alkaline batteries.
Replace the outer shell:
D:3 The clamp must be fully pressed down. Position the shell from the top
down, ensuring that the hook on the top of the outer shell (D:4) fits in
the hole on the inner shell (D:5).
D:6 Press/slide the clamp up once the outer shell is in place.
