Setting operating mode
In the
main
section, you can switch between different operating modes of
the sensor. The name of every mode coincides with the communication interface
used to physically connect the sensor with a certain input of a GPS tracker.
Choose mode you need and click
Save the parameters to device
.
Fig. 29 Operating modes
-
RS485 mode
must be selected when the sensor is to be connected to the
RS485 line A and line B inputs of the tracker. The tracker must be able to poll the
sensor, i.e. request the data from it. The tracker must be able to communicate
with the sensor in accordance with the
LLS communication protocol
-
Analog mode
is used to connect the sensor's analog output to the analog
input (
AIN
) of the tracker capable of registering the voltage readings of TD-150
within the
≈0.2V … ≈9.0 V range
and TD-500 0.2V … ≈5.0 V range
-
Frequency mode
is used to connect a GPS tracker via its input capable of
registering frequency readings of an analog signal within the
300 Hz … 1323 Hz
range
or within the
300 Hz … 4395 Hz range
-
Periodic/impulse mode
should be used to connect the sensor with an
impulse input of the tracker
