4.2.   Using   a   USB   cable   Network   adapter:   (Optional   Extra)   

In   the   event   that   you   a   have   poor   Wi-­‐Fi   or   signal   you   can   also   choose   the   Ethernet   

option   from   the   menu.   This   will   however   mean   that   you   will   need   to   purchase   an   

additional   piece   of   equipment   called   a   RJ45-­‐USB   adapter.      This   will   allow   you   to   

connect   a   Cat5   cable   to   your   Smart   Stick   via   one   of   the   USB   ports.

Using   a   Smart   phone   remote   control:      

Install   an   APK   “Smart   Phone   Remote   Control”   onto   your   Android   smart   phone.   You   

can   then   link   your   smart   phone   to   the   Smart   Stick   provided   they   are   on   the   same   Wi-­‐

Fi    network.    Click    icon    of    “Smart    Phone    Remote    Control”    to    open    the    application,   

then   pop-­‐up   optional   equipment,   and   then   select   the   equipment   you   want   to   control.
