9.2 Port and IP Forwarding
To configure Port and IP Forwarding, go to:
Network >> NAT
>> Port and IP Forwarding
.
This function allows the administrator to set at most 40 sets of IP addresses for redirection purposes. When the
user attempts to connect to a destination IP address listed here, the connection packet will be converted and
redirected to the corresponding destination. Please enter the
“IP Address”
and
“Port”
of
Destination
, and the
“IP Address”
and
“Port”
of
Translated to Destination
. Select
“TCP”
or
“UDP”
for the service’s type. The
administrator is able to select whether the forwarding is done before or after client authentication. Select
Yes
for
“Auth. Before Forwarding” if an External Proxy Server is used and authentication is enabled. These settings will
become effective immediately after clicking
Apply
