The correct fitment and securing of the Seat Covers on the vehicle’s is essential in order for the airbag to work correctly.
an accident. In order for the Seat Covers to fit correctly please do as follows:
1.
These Canvas Style Seat Covers have the airbag seams on both the left and right hand
side which enables the Seat Covers to be fitted to either the driver’s or passenger’s seat.
2.
The driver’s and passenger’s Seat Cover must be fitted into the correct position with the
side seams of the Seat Cover covering the side airbag section of your vehicle’s seat.
3.
Ensure that you inspect your Seat Covers for movement and wear regularly. Seat Covers that have moved must be
repositioned immediately. Ideally the Seat Covers should be realigned and tightened if movement is noticeable. If you are
unable to reposition or tighten the Seat Cover due to the wear on them, they must be removed and replaced.
4.
Do not re-sew or interfere with any part of the Seat Cover including the side seam as the Seat Covers have been designed in
a way that allows the airbag to deploy through the Seat Cover in the event of an accident by splitting the side seam open.
5.
Do not attempt to alter the Seat Cover in any way; for example do not attempt to create your own hole in the Seat Cover for
an existing armrest your vehicle may have.
6.
Do not continue to use the Canvas Style Seat Covers if the airbag has been deployed. Immediately remove and disregard
any of these Seat Covers.
7.
In the event that the side seam splits do not attempt to repair this as it will hinder the correct operation of the Seat Cover.
