4. push the child seat against the car seat to check that
the isofix system is fully latched, ensuring that the
child seat is as close to the car seat as possible.
5. shake the child seat to ensure that it is anchored
securely and has been fitted correctly (fig. 4).
6.1.2 uninstalling the isofix connectors
1. pull the release buttons back to uninstall the isofix
system

from the child seat (fig. 5 and 6).
6.1.3 installing the top tether
1. take the top tether

and, if required, lengthen the
belt by pressing the top tether brake button

to
release the strap, pulling to adjust as necessary (fig.
1).
2. attach the top tether hook to the top tether
anchorage point which is recommended in the owner’s
manual for your car (fig. 2).

3. to tension the top tether

, remove any slack
by pulling on the free end of the strap until it is
suitably tightened (fig. 3). the top tether will be
properly tightened when the tension indicator turns
completely green (fig. 4).

1. put the seat on the vehicle’s seat in the direction of
driving and recline the chair back as far as possible so
that you can access the safety catch

2. unlock the safety catch

by turning it. remove it to
release the seat back (fig. 1)
3. Move the backrest forward and thread the vehicle’s
seat belt between the chair’s backrest and base (fig. 2)
4. thread the lap belt through the bottom harness guides
(L)
and fasten the vehicle’s seat belt latch, pressing
until you hear a click. (fig.3)
5. thread the chest belt through the pertinent top
harness guide (Group 1)

tighten the chest belt if it is loose after installing the
three point seat belt by pulling on it. Ensure that it fits
as closely as possible to the seat (fig. 6).
6. Close the chair’s backrest again and employ the safety
catch

to lock the back into place (fig. 6).
