Paper Shredder Maintenance
•
You should not attempt to shred more than 8 sheets (at a weight of 80g/m2) at once.
Reduce the maximum amount of sheets in case of thicker paper.

Try to empty the bin before it becomes full, small pieces of paper may accumulate in the
blades and cause more jams
•
Although, most shredders have safety triggers, always unplug the shredder before emptying
the bin or clearing a paper jam to prevent accidents
•
Shredding paper at a moderate pace will allow the shredder to cool down and not overheat
so frequently
•
Regularly use shredder lubricant and oil to extend the life of your shredder motor and
blades
Note: Please disconnect the power plug from power supply before cleaning.
Troubleshooting Guide
BIN OPEN
Symptom: When the machine head is apart from the bin, it will be in the “BIN OPEN” status.
Solution: Connecting shredder head to bin to start work
PAPER JAM
Symptom: When feeding too much paper into the paper entrance, cause the paper jam
Solution: Set the Switch to “R“ position pull out the un-cutting paper from entrance
BIN FULL
1.
When paper scraps piling up exceed the height of bin window, it means the bin is
full.
2.
The over full paper scraps in the bin may cause the shredder head
disconnected with bin, machine shut off the operation immediately; Pls.
clean up the bin before restarting operation
