2.2.2 Configuration in the AP mode:
After clicking on the icon AP configuration window will appear where you can enter basic
configuration parameters for this mode.
Enter the parameters of the access point (AP) of the wireless network:
a) In the
SSID
field, enter the name of your network (the default network name
is 8level-Net)
b) In the
Channel
field, set the radio channel of the access point (default auto)
c) In the
Security Mode
, select the type of security (recommended WPA2 Personal)
d) In the
Key
, enter the wireless security key
Then press the
Save & Reboot
to approve the settings. The device will then reboot - wait
until you see the appropriate message.
2.2.3 Configuration in the Repeater mode:
After clicking on the icon Repeater configuration window will appear where you can enter
basic configuration parameters for this mode.
From the available in your area wireless networks, select the wireless network of your
Internet Service Provider (ISP). Press the
Select
button next to the selected network.
Enter a parameters broadcast wireless network:
a) In the
SSID
field please enter the name of your network (We suggest you keep the
name of the network which enlarge the range but it is not a necessary condition)
b) In the
Key
, enter the wireless security key (it must be the same as in the network
which enlarge the range)
Then press the
Save & Reboot
to approve the settings. The device will then reboot - wait
until you see the appropriate message.
In the
Key
field please enter the wireless security key that allows connection to a specified
network (supplied by your ISP).
Then press the
Save & Reboot
to approve the settings. The device will then reboot - wait
until you see the appropriate message.
NOTE:
when you select
Expansion Enable Wireless
field device allows you to create a
local wireless network.
