IMPORTANT NOTES:
•
In the case of two different power supplies (for example 48V and 24V), SPI will power the output device with the
highest active voltage. It is not possible to choose which voltage to power the devices in this case.
•
No conversion is applied to the input voltage and there is no isolation between the power input and the PoE output.
•
The PoE port and the LAN port are galvanically isolated from each other.
Special case -48V
The main input admits polarity inversion, that is, a negative voltage can be connected to its terminals without problems. The
redundant terminals can be used simultaneously, even with different voltages.
If you have a voltage of -48V (as is often the case in some telecommunication systems), simply connect the terminals in the
way you prefer.
