GENERAL

• Do not allow the machine to be operated by an untrained person without

adequate instruction

• Serious injury could result from careless or improper use of the machine
• Ensure all users understand and follow the operating instructions.
• Beware of uneven or slippery work surfaces
• Be aware of your surroundings, especially in the vacinity of uprotected

excavations

PROTECTIVE CLOTHING - PPE

Always wear eye protection equal to AS/NZS1337

• Steel capped boots
• Suitable work gloves
• Hearing protection - Class 4 or higher

MECHANICAL HAZARD

Ensure all guards are in place before operating the machine

• DO NOT leave the machine unattended while in operation
• Make sure the machine and operator are stable by setting up on a level

surface. Do not let the machine slide, tip over or fall while in operation

• Only use the recommended fuel and oil in the engine
• Repairs to the machine must always be carried out by an authorised repair

agent

SAFETY OPERATIONS

Incorrect use of the drive unit may cause serious injury, therefore 
the following precautions must be followed:
• Always use PPE safety equipment as listed earlier in this booklet
• Do not modify the mixer or use the mixer other than what is

its intended use.
