3.2 Award BIOS CMOS setup
Awards BIOS ROM has a built-in Setup program that allows users to
modify the basic system configuration. This type of information is stored
in battery-backed CMOS memory so that it retains the Setup information
when the power is turned off.
Some items in the BIOS are programmed to auto detect your system. The
presence or the values of these items vary with the corresponding
hardware specification of your system.
A.
Entering setup
Power on the computer and press <Del> immediately.
This will allow you to enter Setup. The top menu offers
users various functions to configure the system. The
default page after entering the BIOS setup is [Main –
Standard CMOS setup].

Use this menu for basic system configuration. (Date,
time, IDE, etc.)

Advanced Features Setup
Use this menu to set the advanced features available on
your system.
