DMA Resources
When resources are controlled manually, assign each
DMA channel a type, depending on the type of device
using the DMA channel. There are two types for choice:
Legacy ISA and PCI/ISA PnP.
Legacy ISA
: Devices compliant with the original PC
AT bus specification, requiring a specific DMA channel
PCI/ISA PnP
: Devices compliant with the Plug and
Play standard, whether designed for PCI or ISA bus
architecture.

PCI/VGA Palette Snoop
Enabling this item informs the PCI VGA card to keep
silent (and to prevent conflict) when palette register is
updated (i.e., accepts data without responding any
communication signals). This is useful only when two
display cards use the same palette address and plugged
in the PCI bus at the same time (such as MPEG or
Video capture card). In such case, PCI VGA is silent
while MPEG/Video capture card is set to function
normally.
