10.1.1.
Check before Use (Inspection)
Please be sure to check the following before the inspection.
Check of contact points.
Check that the position and height of the conveyor belt fits with that of the input and output devices on either side.
Check for meandering of the conveyor belt.
Adjust the tension of the conveyor belt to avoid meandering.
WARNING
If the conveyor belt is meandering and the end of the belt collides, powder caused by abrasion
of the belt may contaminate the product.

Check the sensitivity of detection.
Calibrate for detection of good and defective products. Check the detection performance. If detection does not
perform normally, adjust the sensitivity again.
Check the behavior of the rejecter.
If the rejecter is used, check the behavior of good and defective product selection.
If the rejecter cannot select correctly, adjust the settings again and the configuration of input and output.

Check after Use (Inspection)
Please be sure to make the following check after the inspection.
Check the sensitivity of the detection.
Confirm detection is functioning normally, performing adjustment for good and defective products. If they cannot be
detected correctly, the previous inspection may not have been performed correctly.
Check the behavior of the rejecter.
If the rejecter is used, check the behavior for good and defective products.
If the rejecter cannot select correctly, adjust the settings again and the configuration of input and output.
Cleaning
Clean the device, paying particular attention to the conveyor belt.
10.1.3.
Periodical Check and Maintenance
In addition to daily maintenance and checks, perform the following periodically.
Check the conveyor belt.
Remove the conveyor belt, check for fraying, warping, abrasion, cracks or any other deformities.
Check the motor.
Check the running sound of the motor and the ability to adjust the speed.
