Never allow unauthorized persons to operate 

hoist

. Thoroughly train new employees in the operation

and care of 

hoist

.

Caution: the power unit operates at high pressure.

z

Remove passengers before raising vehicle.

z

Prohibit unauthorized persons from being in shop area while 

hoist

 is in use.

z

Total lift capacity is 3200kg.

z

 

Prior to lifting vehicle, walk around the 

hoist

 and check for any objects that might interfere with the

operation of 

hoist

 and safety latches; tools, air hoses, shop equipment.

z

 

When approaching the 

hoist

 with a vehicle, center the vehicle wheel on the runway. Slowly drive

the vehicle up on the runways. Have some one outside the vehicle guide the driver.

z

Never use 

hoist

 to raise one end or one side of vehicle.

z

Raise vehicles about

 900mm

 and check stability by light rocking.

z

 

Prior to lowering vehicle, walk around the 

hoist

 and check for any objects that might interfere with the

operation of 

hoist

 and safety latches; tools, air hoses, shop equipment. Slowly drive the vehicle

out. Have some one outside the vehicle guide the driver. 

ALWAYS LOCK THE 

HOIST

 BEFORE GOING UNDER THE VEHICLE. NEVER 

ALLOW ANYONE TO GO UNDER THE 

HOIST

 WHEN RAISING OR LOWERING.
