... when your handset is switched off:

... in the idle state:

press: opens the caller list.

... during an incoming call:

press: deletes the character to the left of the cursor.

press during a conversation initiates an enquiry call.

press in the idle state dials a previously stored SOS number. You can program this emer-
gency number in the “Telephone Options > Emergency Call” menu.

press in the idle state activates the key lock.

press in the idle state switches the ringer on or off.

press while you are making entries in a list (typing names into the telephone book, for
example): shifts from upper-case to lower-case letters, or vice versa.
