Check available licences
For each IP and SIP phone a licence is required. Depending on the used DSP re-
sources, VoIP channels need to be licenced as well. If those licences are not re-
leased at the time of the first need, the communication server will add trial licences
automatically. Trial licence are time limited to 60 days. Check your licences now:
1. Make as many simultaneous calls as possible between IP/SIP phones and non-IP
phones in order to use as much VoIP channels as possible.
2. Go to the configuration assistant step
03. Checking licence
.
3. Check all licences in the active licence list. If you find any trial licences, you need
to aquire this licences within the trial time. The trial licence's expiry date is indi-
cated under
Status
.
Tip
Since VoIP encription is enabled system-wide as per default, you will
also find a trial licence named
Trial Secure VoIP.
However, you may not
need VoIP encription for your purposes. If so, disable the VoIP encrip-
tion in the WebAdmin IP security view (
Configuration
/
IP network
/
IP
security
) and ignore the trial licence.
