All the licences are offered in separate licence packages. Depending on the sales
channels the packages may differ from the licences in
. The systems are fac-
tory supplied unlicensed. Back-licensing is not provided for. However, resetting to
the factory setting is possible.
Note
Once a licence has been obtained and entered, the system may have to
be restarted in order to activate the licence.
Temporary offline licences
If the connection to the Master is interrupted in an AIN, the satellites
restart in offline mode. The licences acquired on the Master are no longer
visible to the satellites in offline mode. To ensure autonomous VoIP and
QSIG traffic, the following licences are enabled in the satellites concerned
for the duration of the offline mode or for a maximum of two hours:

Trial licences
Trial licences are available for some functions. This means that licensed features can
be used and tested, licence-free, for a period of 60 days. The trial licences are auto-
matically enabled the first time a particular function is used and then listed in AIMS
in the licence overview, complete with the date on which they expire.
