Example of ICC cumulative counter
Currency
The amounts on the cumulative counters can be displayed in the local currency.
The amount per metering pulse and the local currency depend on the parameter
settings in the OCL/ICC menu.
Ascotel® IntelliGate® Net:
In an AIN call logging takes place centrally on the Master. Call charges are
displayed on the system terminals in the same format and in the same cur-
rency throughout the AIN. However as the nodes may be spread out in dif-
ferent countries, the currency and also the value per charge pulse may
also be different and completely falsify the outgoing call logging. That’s
why it is important in these nodes to use the AIMS Configuration Manager
to enter the
exchange rate
for the Master’s currency and the
charge value
.
Note:
The more consistently the current exchange rates of the nodes are
adapted following exchange rate fluctuations or changes in charge val-
ues, the more precisely the outgoing call logging will indicate the actual
costs incurred.
