Charge lead batteries

ries

6.2.2

Charge the batteries with the charger

Connect the vertical lift to the AAT charger to charge the lead batteries.

Put the charger’s plug into the power jack at the bottom of the hou-
sing.

Now put the charger’s plug into the wall outlet and the batteries are
being charged.

An LED (light emitting diode) on the charger shows the state of the battery.
The automatic charger switches to maintaining the charge whenever the bat-
teries are fully charged, so it is impossible to overcharge them.

Never leave the vertical lift with empty lead batteries. Instead, charge them
after each use. Frequent charging increases the durability of lead batteries.
If you do not use your vertical lift for a longer time such as holidays, wee-
kends, vacations, etc. always connect it to a charger, simply to retain the
charge. This does not harm your lead batteries; on the contrary, it increases
their durability.

6.2.3

Exchange the batteries

At first, turn off the vertical lift. Loosen the screws at the bottom of the hou-
sing and open the housing. Disconnect the contact plugs and take out the
batteries.

When you put in the new batteries, please make sure that the polari-
ties are connected properly (black = minus, red = plus)!
