Please observe the following installation information:
• The transmitter must be connected using suitable cable and wire entries or pipeline systems,
which satisfy the requirements of EN 50 018:1994, Section 13.1 or 13.2, and for which a
separate examination certificate exists.
• Openings in the housing that are not being used must be closed in accordance with
EN 50 018:1994, Section 11.9.
• Cable and wire entries, as well as plugs, which do not comply with the points stipulated
above may not be used.
To align the transmitter at the measuring point (by turning by a maximum of 360°), the rotatable
housing may be loosened on the shaft between the measuring equipment and housing:
1.
Loosen the locking screw by a maximum of 1 rotation.
2.
Align the housing.
3.
Retighten the locking screw.
Before switching on the operating voltage:
1.
Close the housing.
2.
Secure the housing cover by turning the locking screws (hex-head socket screws)
counterclockwise.
3.
Secure the housing against rotating by turning the locking screw clockwise.
4.
The housing cover, electronics housing, and measuring equipment may only be replaced
with components that have been approved for this purpose.
Caution - Risk
Opening the housing during operation (with the operating voltage switched on) is not
permitted.
